In Serials Solutions you can add a custom relative date for the end date of any title’s coverage. There are standard ways to do this set out in their documentation. One way is simply to enter “1 year ago” as the end date. You can also do this for months as well (e.g. 6 months ago). I do remember that JSTOR moving walls aren’t always accurate even on JSTOR’s site though.

Our Periodicals Manager recently noticed the same thing.
And we use SerialsSolutions. They also represent JSTOR
holdings as closed holdings that they add to each year,
eventually. I think JSTOR might be the source of the
problem. We should complain to them, perhaps.
