LAC is seeking a Lead Library Technician with supervisory experience to support acquisitions, receiving, and processing activities in the Technical Services branch of a large government library in Rockville, Maryland.

Responsibilities include:

Manage day to day operations, ensuring tasks are completed and tracked as required
Supervise staff
Receive, sort and distribute library materials
Process and label serials
Search and update records in the library’s Voyager ILS
Process serials for indexing

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of experience
Experience processing library materials
Supervisory experience
Experience with integrated library system searching and record maintenance, Voyager experience a plus
Experience with MS Office tools
