We have had a subscription to The Advocate for years, but now (2010) that is available in print only as a comes-with with a subscription to Out.  Because we still want to get The Advocate, we’re now getting Out.  Their publication pattern wasn’t clear, complicated by a misprint in the current issue, so I called the publisher.  Their volume year of ten issues begins in August every year; v. 18 is 2009-2010 with enumeration as follows:

no.1 (Aug ’09), no.2 (Sep ’09), no.3 (Oct ’09), no.4 (Nov ’09), no.5 (Dec ‘09/Jan ’10), no.6 [not no.5 as printed] (Feb ’10), no.7 (Mar ’10), no.8 (Apr ’10), no.9 (May ’10), no.10 (Jun/Jul ’10).
