Greetings all,
Surprisingly, we do not
have much responses to our ad in alaworld. We need to advertise the
program at other listservs. Please post our ad to area listservs you are
a subscriber as you did it before. The blurb is below:
The Association for Collections and Technical
Services (ALCTS) accepts applications for the Award Course Online program for
library professionals from developing countries. Registration is open for the
1th session (February-March 2010) of online based continuing education courses

Courses description: http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/divs/alcts/confevents/upcoming/webcourse/index.cfm
The courses of ALCTS fundamental series are
four-week continuing education classes. Everything is done online. These are
basic classes designed for brand new librarians as well as for experienced
librarians who want to update their skills. The classes include online
chats, but they are optional. ALCTS will only send a certificate to students
who complete the required assignments successfully.
TO APPLY, YOU MUST USE THE WEB FORM AT THE
FOLLOWING LINK CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS AWARD PROGRAM:

2010.
All applications will be reviewed according to
eligibility and required criteria. E-mail acceptance will be sent to the
