We use Harrassowitz for our non-domestic titles, and
overall, I agree that they provide excellent customer service, with two minor exceptions:
I still wish they would use standard 8.5” by 11” paper for their
invoices, (!!!) and we don’t see a customer service representative as
often as we used to. (I miss Lorne Kenyon!) However, the new account
representative is very nice, I must say!
We have needed very little claiming for our Harrassowitz
titles over the years. My only other concern has been that we have to identify
titles for cancellation rather early.
We’re about to give W.T. Cox a try for some of our
maverick subscriptions. (They are subscriptions the size of schnauzers, but
they are subscriptions.)
