HighBee ~ Last Minute Sunday Ride Michael Steinberg 13 Jul 2013 16:16 EDT
Since it is too late to get this ride posted through normal channels as we just decided to do the ride and it is after the 3:00pm deadline for the notice to go to riders through the website I am posting it by e-mail and will put it on the website as well.

This will be a HighBee ride, open to anyone wanting to do an easy Sunday pace ride; definitely not a Hammerfest and starting a lot earlier than usual rides to beat the rain and the heat.

Meet at the Publix by the Kangaroo at Williston Road and SW 34th Street (you know the place) at 6:30am and roll out at 6:45 am. (that is not a typo)

The route will cover 31 miles, basically 121 to Short Wachahoota, to Micanopy, then 234 to a new road we've not ridden before, but I verified on Google maps that it is paved the whole way and comes out on 320 and we go east to 121, then back to the starting point. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/245547925/

Rain is predicted for a later in the morning so I think we'll be back well before it rains or gets hot.

Being an unusual ride time, if you are planning to join us for the ride, please reply to this e-mail. Just curious if there will be other riders wanting to do an early ride.

Thanks,
Mike
