Wendy just had surgery for a brain tumor.  For the short term, she is
doing very well.  Long term is probably terminal ( there, I finally
admitted it ).

My friends, forgive me for not telling you individually, it is just too
much effort.  I do not have the ability to talk to you all on the phone.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL !!  The best I can manage is a mass e-mail.  Confer
among yourselves to arrange a contact group.  We could use help with
things, but are not likely to ask.  We are also not feeling very social.

Wendy will hopefully be released from hospital today.
