Tommorrow night is the San Felasco monthly full moon night ride.
There is nothing like riding at night under a full moon in the woods of north Florida and tomorrow night is your you. The ride will be led by Brian McAllister and should prove to be a night to enjoy biking nd the moon.
Starting time for each night ride is 7:30 pm; rides leave from the Park Headquarters, 12720 NW 109th Lane, Alachua, FL
>From Gainesville: Go North on Rd 241 and just after the I-75 overpass 109th Lane is a right turn. Go south on 109th Lane to end of black 4 rail fence on left (east) side of the road. There is an official State Park sign. Follow drive past horse paddock to the pole barn.
>From Alachua: Go south on Rd 241 until just before the I-75 overpass. Turn left onto 109th lane and continue as above.
Night rides require that you provide your own primary lights for off-road duty-- the brighter, the better. You should also carry a back-up light in case of emergency. Primary lights should be capable of a minimum burn time of two hours. A small donation to the CSO is required for each rider.
