GCCMail: Jerseys are Here!
Len Cabrera 05 Apr 2006 16:15 EDT
Today is the day you've been waiting for all year... The new
jerseys are here! In fact, they're already at the Bike Route or in
the mail (if you requested that).
I opened all the Voler bags to verify what was inside matched what
the bag said. Of course, I could only verify that the labels
matched the bags because some of those shorts were too small to
try on. I also double checked all the orders after I separated
them. I didn't have any items left over so I'm assuming I got it
right.
Each order is in a Ziplock bag with an order summary clearly
visible on one side. If you ordered more than three items, you'll
have two bags stapled together. Make sure you have both bags
before you leave Bike Route because the second bag isn't marked.
The bags are in alphabetical order (by last name) in four boxes
marked on the top and the side: A-G, H-L, M-R, S-Z. You can find
the boxes at the back of the store (by the shoes).
I hope I've been sufficiently anal with the orders. If there is a
mistake in your order, please contact me as soon as you find out.
The overall order was correct so if your bag has the wrong item in
it, somebody else has it.
If you didn't order on time, there are several jerseys for sale at
the Bike Route: men and women's short-sleeve club-fit jerseys with
hidden zippers (XS-XL). Quantities are limited so get there quick
if you want the best selection. If you want shorts, GCC ordered a
couple men's medium and large shorts. Contact Roger if you want
shorts. Also, I ordered an extra men's short-sleeve club-fit
jersey with hidden zipper (medium) for myself. I will sell it at
cost if anybody needs it.
Please thank Paul Messal for all the design work (there were more
iterations than I could count) and all our sponsors (clearly
displayed on the back of each jersey). Thanks!
Len
