GCCMail: Public meeting on Northwest 16th Avenue TODAY!
Jesse 11 Oct 2010 23:51 EDT
I'll refrain from posting the entire article text on NW 16th Avenue's
planning process but it appears that there is a meeting this Tuesday the
12th:
"Residents along Northwest 16th Avenue/23rd Avenue who are concerned, or
merely interested, in planned changes along the road will have an
opportunity to learn more about the proposals at an Alachua County
Commission meeting Tuesday night."..."Under consideration are several
options for additional work including adding bike lanes and widening the
sidewalks."..."Brent King, the project’s manager with the Public Works
Department, said the county has gotten comments from a range of
individuals and from businesses and members of the Bicycle/Pedestrian
Advisory Board."..."The project will be discussed during the evening
session of Tuesday’s County Commission meeting, which begins at 5 p.m.
It is in the County Administration Building at 12 S.E. 1st St."

Hopefully we can make significant attendance as have in previous
meetings.
