Vickie got out of surgery yesterday (Friday) at around 4:30 pm and was transfered
to ICU for recovery.  I was incorrect about the procedure before.
Yersterday was just her lower back.  They replaced her lower back with a
metal plate which I would imagine to be permanent.  I don't have the info on
when they will do the surgery on her leg yet, but I would imagine Monday or
Tuesday.  I will keep you all posted.

ps the surgery on the back went very well, and no complications to be
expected.
