GCCMail: Horrible Hundred Len Cabrera 16 Nov 2005 20:53 EST

Several of us find the little hills in and around Gainesville to
be too tame (and Dahlonega, GA, is too far away) so we're heading
to Clermont on Sunday to ride the Horrible Hundred
(http://www.floridafreewheelers.com/events.html). So far, I count
at least eight people, but we haven't done any formal organizing.
It sounds like we're all driving down in pairs (at least) the
morning of.

I'm planning to be there by 7:30, take about 30 minutes to get
registered and set up and then start riding (rather than wait for
the mass start). I expect 18-19 mph average. There will be others
wanting to ride at different speeds. If you want to get a couple
GCC trains rolling through Clermont, let me know by Friday and
I'll fire off the list to the brave folks going to Clermont. In
addition to e-mail and phone number, please specify the # of
riders you can take (if any, or whether you want to mooch a ride)
and the speed you'd like to ride.
