The Sunrise rides offer less traffic, less wind, less precipitation, cooler
temperatures and great company.
Get an awesome work out and make it home in time to head down to Ben Hill
Griffin Stadium for some Gator football..
Saturday, Sept. 11th
MEET: At the Chevron station <http://gccfla.org/ridelocnw.html> on the
corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.
PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St.
*Start at the north end and work south.
*Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave.
*Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to
the pumps.
!!! THE TIME: Meet at 7:00 AM; Depart at 7:15 AM !!!!
I had mentioned moving the start time back a bit, BUT...the Haile riders have their own 7:00 ride and sunrise is at 7:12am so we'll maintain our regular start time again this week. Strap a blinky to your bike and stop whining.
THE PLAN: Usual Sunrise loop. Clockwise. 39 miles
Millhopper > 241 > 235 > 241 > 236 > 239 > 235 > 237 > 156th > 59th > Hague >
441 > 43rd
THE PACE: Usual Sunrise rules. Average 19-20 mph, regroup at turns, no speed
limit once we hit 441 on the way in.
I've got a football game and tailgating to get to, so there won't be any dilly
dallying!!!!!!
