Has anybody ever had a problem with removing screws from the bottom of cycling shoes while replacing cleats?

My year old DMTs have a death grip on my old cleats and after WD-40, screwdrivers, pliers, vice grips and so much elbow grease that my chest is sore, I'm still unable to remove the screws.

I've replaced plenty of cleats in my day and feel silly soliciting help, but getting time on the bike is hard enough these days and not having a pair of shoes to wear makes it that much harder.

Any advice???
