Obviously, there is and always will be a problem with groups going at vastly-different speeds sharing the roads.  Maybe we need more (LOTS MORE) bike paths.

I don't agree with drivers being aggressive towards cyclists, but a group of 80 on a busy two lane road that refuses to split into smaller groups is not acting in a very safe manner. I also think that if there were semis consistently riding around at 18-24 mph and backing up traffic, the police would call a halt pretty quickly.

Having said that, I hope I live long enough to hear of a driver getting a ticket for coming closer than 3 feet to a cyclist. If it ever happens, we'll hear - mass rallies to hang the cop in effigy at least...
