I certainly agree with Karelisa! Also, when I have let the offending
riders passing without warning know they ought to warn me, I've been
told "Get off the trail Old Far-".
Nice manners.

So Karelisa, it is women and old men too....

Chuck, (Old and slo and still riding)

us who ride more slowly are becoming very tired of being passed
without warning - especially on the Trail where one does not
constantly look in the mirror. But it applies on the road as well. So
often as the light turns green, I am crossing the intersection,
watching the car on my right trying to turn into me and the truck
bearing down from behind while I try to avoid the glass etc on the
road and some fast rider comes dashing up behind without a word,
nearly clips me and then cuts in right ahead.
Come on, guys - and it is guys - women riders almost always show
courtesy: it is a short phrase: On Your Left.
