Saturday Oct 22, Marty Tod, long time Strays rider and occasional Strays
leader, will lead the Strays. Look for email later this week detailing
the ride and meeting place.

Saturday Oct 29,  Criag Lee, long time Strays rider, former club
President and occasional Strays leader, will lead a ride in the Hawthorne
area. Look for email in the week preceding the 29th for further details.

Gainesville Hawthorne Trail ride

Tuesday Oct. 18. Strays will meet at the Boulware Springs dirt lot for a
20 mile afternoon ride. This ride will be largely on the trail, but we
will diverge on 234 to go to Tims Fast Nickel for a convenience store /
restroom break about the middle of the ride.

Ride speed 12 -14 mph. This ride is entirely flat, except for the few
hills encountered on the trail in the first few miles.

Meet at 2:45 pm for a 3 pm prompt departure.

No wheel sucking, no pace lines, this is a fun, sociable ride

After the ride the hungry and cost conscious will head to the Market
Street Pub to take advantage of the Tuesday evening special; Sirloin
burgers for $2. (half the normal price). Market Street also has an
excellent selection of other sandwiches and subs, and they make their own
sausage and bake their own bread.

Helmets REQUIRED on all Strays rides, Mirrors recommended, Headphones
FORBIDDEN.
