I'm thinking about placing an order for shorts from Voler and I
wanted to see if anyone else wants to join so I can get to their
minimum order quantity. Nothing fancy, just plain black shorts.
Their "Avanti" shorts are essentially the same thing we got with
our GCC order: 8oz Nylon-Lycra with 8-panel construction
(www.velowear.com). They normally go for $54.95, but are currently
on sale for $44.95. By doing a custom order, the shorts are $44.25
($2 less if the order exceeds 50 pairs). That's not much of a
price break given the sale price, but there are other advantages:

- Specify your chamois:
      -- Cantara (standard for men)
      -- Azura (standard for women)
      -- Ion ($5 upgrade that's not available through Velowear
unless you spend $84.95)
- Make it a bib (add $4... a bargain since they're $64.95 through
Velowear)
- Make it a knicker (add $4... also $64.95 through Velowear)
- Make it a bib knicker (add $7... $69.95 through Velowear)
- Make it a tri short (subtract $5... you can't specify the pad on
these, but they are $49.95 through Velowear)

If you're like me and you wear out a pair of shorts every six
months, you'll want to take advantage of these prices. If you're
interested, e-mail me by 8 May. We'll worry about payment and
distribution after I collect the total order (so I know if we have
enough to place an order and I'll know exactly how much everything
will be). For your order, I just need to know:

Name, e-mail, and the style, type, pad, size, and quantity for
each different item you want.
