As about twenty people politely informed me, including GCC's most
prominent marathoner-in-training, 9-minute miles aren't really that
"slow." Meaning to be inclusive by suggesting a reasonable pace, I
meant to say that we would train at a relaxed jogging speed,
appropriate to fit cyclists who don't otherwise run. Whether it's ten
or fifteen minute miles is not important. If you're still interested,
let me know. Forgive a former distance runner for the unintended
slight, and keep the emails coming if you're interested.
