Don't forget the Gainesville Cycling Club's 200 kilometer brevet is this
weekend.  Traditionally, brevets are social rides ridden at a civilized
pace, but there is a time limit (13.5 hours) and the ride takes place
regardless of the weather.  There is no support.

This is our shortest ride, and we don't need no steenkin' lunch stop --
it's only 125 miles for Pete's sake!

To honor the 'regardless of the weather' tradition, the start time has
been planned for the coldest hour of the coldest day so far this winter.
Randonneurs are tough as nails.  They scoff at 20-degree temperatures.
(Last year, they scoffed at the F3 tornado as they rode through the hail
that fell around it.)
