Dear Friends:

As previously announced in the media, the Office of Greenways and Trails
has formally closed on the parcel of abandoned railway corridor through
downtown Gainesville.  The actual closing took place yesterday.  This
$1.7MM acquisition will enhance cycling in the Gainesville area.  Notes
