Five riders completed the 100 mile ride I am totally overjoyed.  My last
century was 1 1/2 years ago with Allen when we rode the Brutally Hot Endless
Summer Watermelon Century Ride in St. Augustine.

Kudos to Judie, Pat, Velvet and especially Thomas who totally surprised me
by showing up at the start he amazes me.  Thomas will be 76 in 2012!
Judie was the only rider that had completed a couple of centuries this year.
Pat had not done a century in 5 years, Velvet and Thomas had not completed
their century on the Ride To Remember due to the horrendous storm.
We had a near perfect day no flats or mechanicals but I did miss 1 turn on
the route.
Thanks for making my early resolution come true.  You all rock!!

Happy New Year GCC members:
A few of us that have not done a century in 2011 have decided to ride on
Friday 12/30 starting at West Side Park.  We will ride at a slower pace and
not leave anyone behind.
Meet at 7:45AM for an 8:00AM cold start but it should be a perfect day to
burn some holiday calories:)
