hi gcc,

please excuse this email if there has already been a discussion on
this topic that i may have missed.

i doubt i'm the only person thinking of this idea: why don't we
consider utilizing the new "le store" convenience store as the future
gcc/gliders/A's meeting point on days we are going south.

the new "le store" is located on the N side of williston road and on
the W side of 34th street, across williston road from the citgo.

"le store" seems to have a safe location for the group going S on
rocky point road, and going W on williston road.  obviously, the fact
that it is a brand-new full-blown store, with facilities, and a full
service gas station is also a very nice benefit.

i'm not suggesting riders park at "le store," only to meet up there.
riders who drive will certainly continue to park at the current
parking area.  there are now huge parking areas in this new publix
shopping mall that may be utilized one day, but that is not my point
here and now.

i would encourage members to consider and perhaps work towards making
such a change in our meeting location for the southern routes, if
possible, feasible and favorable.  i think the benefits of safety and
convenience, and frankly, new facilities will make it worth the change.

perhaps gcc leadership can address the possibilities, pro's and cons
of this idea to all members.  i'm sure we'll need permission from the
store, etc...

lastly, the owners of citgo and chevron have been, and continue to be
incredibly generous to the gcc, and they deserve our respect and
appreciation (and business) for their kindness.
