Dear Friends:

In conjunction with the Gainesville Cycling Club Labor Day Picnic, Lee
and I will lead an easy ride on the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail, leaving
the inner (South) parking lot at Boulware Springs City Park at 8:00 AM
on Monday 7 September 2009, and returning there for the picnic at Noon.
This is a GCC event, so helmets are required.

Meet at the parking lot nearest the big white pumphouse - the picnic
will use the pavilion nearest that spot.  Bring water, a snack if you
need it, bug juice, and whatever.  We will ride at our usual majestic
pace, stopping whenever you want to to talk about history, wildlife,
flowers, water, whatever.  Suitable for beginners and children.  We
leave no one behind.

For any not members of GCC, you will be our guests  The picnic involves
the Club providing the main course, and members bringing a dish to
pass.  If you haven't received a GCC invitation, please RSVP to me, and
advise me if you want fried chicken, roast chicken, or something called
boca burgers (I'm afraid to ask).  Just let me know.  Call with
