Sunrise Ride
MEET: At the Chevron station <http://gccfla.org/ridelocnw.html> on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.
PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St.
Start at the north end and work south.
Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave.
Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TIME: Meet at 7:20 AM (EDT)
Ride briefing and introductions at 7:29 AM
Depart at 7:30 AM...SHARP!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE PLAN: A modified Poe Springs Ride...~52 miles
THE PACE: Usual Sunrise rules. Average 18-20 mph, regroup at turns, no speed limit once we hit Chestnut Hill on the way in.
THE LOWDOWN: By getting out earlier, the Sunrise rides offer less traffic, less wind, less precipitation, more comfortable temperatures and great company.
We will once again be getting about 45 more minutes of saddle time this weekin order to prepare for the upcoming R2R. There will likely be a VERY BRIEF stop at the BP station on Main St. in High Springs. Bring a few bucks to refuel, but don't plan on dilly dally'ing. We'll be back to the Chevron by ~10:30am, so those of you with a full Saturday can still enjoy the ride.
There will be NO POSTED SUNRISE RIDE NEXT WEEK due to our attendance at the "Ride to Remember".
**NOTE THE 0730 START TIME!!!**
