I have a 1941 Claud Butler tandem for sale.  All of the original steel
components except the crank sets have been replaced with newer alloy
components over the years, and the frame has been repainted.

My Dad and his brother originally used this bike for long distance
touring shortly after World War II.  They would ride from Los Angeles
to the base of Mt. Whitney, hike to the top, then ride back to LA.
They were iron men in those days.

My Dad gave the bike to me more than 10 years ago, but I am just not a
tandem person.  I'll take any reasonable offer.  Give me a call or
email me if you are interested.  I recently moved to Gainesville, so
if you want to stop by and take a look, by all means.
