Hi,
I am dealing with some severe arthritis in joints, and old age related
spinal stuff....

Because of the above, I like a steel frame--it tends to give a bit.
Aluminum is a killer..  What I really

like (much to my  chagrin) is a mountain bike frame with slick tires and
as little weight as possible.

The front suspension really saves the elbows and hands.  The fatter
tires save the back from slams.

It ain't as fast and as quick as a roadbike, but it lets me ride...
