Mike Wohl, Ellen Sayers, and I are leading a family ride on Monday,
Sept. 5. We will meet at Boulware Springs at 9:15 for a 9:30 ride on the
Gainesville-Hawthorne trail.

We will ride 11-12 miles at a pace of 8-10 mph. The current count
includes 4 8-year-old girls, 2 10-year-old boys, 1-3 middle schoolers,
and assorted adults.

The plan is to stop by the overlook, take a breather, then head into the
"hilly" area until we get to the bridge. There we can check out the
water, play under the bridge (according to Mike, the kids love to throw
rocks into the water here), rest for a bit, eat a snack, then head back
in time for the picnic.
