I'm 5'8" and ride a 52 cm frame. I have an older (1982) Trek 736
frame. I started to strip the paint off but didn't finish. I am
willing to contribute the frame and also have misc. parts that I
could contribute.

I've got several unused sets of old-style top quality pedals, a bar
and stem, seatpost and saddle, bottom bracket, headset and probably a
brakeset.

If we can find a frame and fork, crankset, wheels and chain he could
be on the road.

Anyone else got any spare parts taking up valuable space?!?

I ride all my bikes, but would be willing to contribute to a fund at a
local bike shop or something to get this man a good bike – he's earned
it! Let us know.

Hi all,
I have a friend who was severely wounded in Iraq. After a year of
surguries and rehab he was just medically retired from the Army and
has been riding a stationary bike to help his mangled leg. He is very
interested in getting a bike and riding the roads but he doesn't have
much money. He is 5'8'' and would ride a 54cm -56cm? He only has
about $200 to spend. Does anyone have an older bike that is in good
shape or one I could fix up with a little work? Any ideas or would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
