The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for anyone with information about a hit-and-run accident on March 9 that left a Gainesville woman with critical injuries.
Bonnie Currie Reynolds, 49, was taken to Shands at the University of Florida following the 7:39 p.m. accident on Archer Road east of 122nd Street, according to an FHP media release.
Reynolds was riding her bicycle east in the eastbound bike lane when she was struck by what is believed to be a brown 1998 to 2003 Chevrolet Blazer SUV, the release states.
The SUV driver continued heading east without stopping. The SUV will have damage to the right front and side, and the passenger mirror was broken off during the collision.
Anyone with information can call FHP at 955-3180 or 1-800-395-8248. Cell phone users can call *FHP. Information can be given in person at FHP offices at 6300 NW 13th St.
