GCC Commuters,

The commuters will meet in two weeks, Wednesday October 6, in the
evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p. m. to discuss the direction and goals of
our new group.

To clarify, this is not a "riding" group per se, but a group of people
who want to learn about, support, or promote commuting by bicycle in
some way through their affiliation with the Gainesville Cycling Club.
I'm all about keeping meetings brief, focused, and goal-oriented, but
I left some extra time during the first meeting for us to get to know
each other and have a general "existential" session about who we are
and what we want to do.  Sorry for the wait, but I thought our meeting
would be more interesting with more MTPO and BPAB meetings from the
early Fall under our belt (see next email).

WE NEED A VENUE FOR THIS MEETING, or I will pick one.  I'd prefer to
meet at someone's house, and mine is not the most meeting friendly.

Please contact me via email if you want to host.  We had a lot of
responses, so I'd expect about ten to fifteen people to show.  No need
to provide refreshments or food, just a place to meet.
