GCCMail: Adopt-a-Road Cleanup Sunday April 10 NEED VOLUNTEERS! foxally@xxxxxx 07 Apr 2011 10:46 EDT

GCC members:

Andrew and I will be doing a GCC Adopt-a-Road cleanup this weekend on Sunday, April 10th, at 4:00 p.m.

Apologies for the short notice, but we have some free time this weekend, it's going to be a beautiful weekend, weather-wise, and this cleanup is overdue due to my recent medical issues.

The roadside litter burden along our stretch of Millhopper Road does not look too bad at all, so we anticipate a quick, relatively easy job.

Any help from Club members would be appreciated. I realize this is very short notice, but the cleanup will happen, with or without anyone else's help. So, if you would like to help, and join us for dinner at Piesano's afterward, please respond to me directly at foxally@xxxxxxx

It takes 9 volunteers (7 people in addition to Andrew and myself) to staff a full crew, but any help would be appreciated.

I will respond to prospective volunteers with all of the pertinent details (where to meet, park, what to bring, etc.).

I will resume the usual notification process for future Adopt-a-Road cleanups via the GCC website and newsletter with our next regularly scheduled roadside litter cleanup.

Thanks!
