I wish to join James Thompson and Doug and Leslie Folkerth in
encouraging everyone to come out to the meeting tomorrow night. Our
presence as commuters and those who just wish to have a means to ride
from one part of Gainesville to another, or just want to enjoy being
on a bike, should come. Roger Pierce says we have over 900
members...we need you now! This issue will set the precedent for
future decisions on bicycle access on roadways around Gainesville and
in Alachua county. Ride leaders please encourage your group to
present. You can't imagine what a difference this will make. I have
been at the meetings and we need help.
