"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved
body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy
Shit!! What a Ride!!
Live every day like its your last!!

March 29th
>
>
> Greetings Fellow Cyclists!
> The Tampa Bay Freewheelers hope that this greeting finds you doing well a
few months into 2009. We\'d like to take the time to say \"Thank you\" to
all of you that have been with us over the years as participants in our
club rides, members of the club itself or sponsors of our club.

> 2009 Strawberry Century
>
> Once again, the Tampa Bay Freewheelers present our Strawberry Century
ride for 2009. We understand that we are in difficult economic times and
since our club has done well financially over the last 10 years, we\'d like
to help out in a small way. To that end, we have lowered the fee for this
year\'s Strawberry Century by $5 for both pre-registered riders and
day-of-ride registrants. It may not be much but we feel that every little
bit helps. We hope that you appreciate our effort and that you continue to
support us in the future. For those of you who are wondering how we can
lower the fee this year it is because we have negotiated a little better
pricing for services being provided without sacrificing quality and we are
giving up most, and possibly all, of our profit for this year.
>
> The weather is warming up for riding these days so you have no excuse.
The 27th Annual Strawberry Century is on March 29th, 2009. I\'d like to
thank all of you who have already
> registered for this great ride.
>
> Ice Cream
> The Ice cream SAG stop is back again!!!!! That\'s right... Courtesy of
the Pride family and City of Mulberry. Be sure to thank them as you ride
off with your ice-cream!
>
> Distances and Amenities
> Although the ride is called the \"Strawberry Century\", we have four ride
distances of 20, 38, 62 or 100 miles. The ride offers a long-sleeved
t-shirt, hot breakfast, hot lunch, fully stocked SAG stops, mechanical
support, vendor displays, strawberry shortcake and door prize giveaways
from our supporting cycling businesses. As always, a portion of the
proceeds will
> be donated to worthy cycling-related causes. Keep in mind that the door
prizes are for our pre-registered riders only.
>
> Registration
> The pre-registration deadline is March 16th and the ride fee is lowered
to $30. Visit us at www.tbfreewheelers.com for additional event details and
to register on-line. Please note that day-of-ride registration is $35 and
you are not guaranteed a long-sleeve t-shirt. We do order some extra ride
t-shrits and these are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis until
no longer available.

and click on the red strawberry on the picture for our ride.
>
> MS 150 registrants - This is a great tune-up for your MS 150 ride.
