Club members who want to get involved in furture transportation planning and construction might want to check out this committee. Application deadline is July 8. (see more details below)
You can also attend any of the BPAB (Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board) meetings as a citizen. Attending these meetings is a mini-education in transportation planning.
The next meeting is Thursday, July 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the downtown Alachua County Administration building (corner of Main Street and University Ave.) in the Grace Knight Conference Room.
I was on the BPAB committee for 17 years, so I may be able to answer questions.
