GCCMail: thanks, and advice

GCCers,
Well, thanks to the 7:15 effort of Team CycleLogic/Asian Tiger I got
back into the ride after two pre-ride flats. After a third, Dennis G.
and I rocked it home for a 60 mile day. Thanks for all the CO2s and
tubes, folks, make sure to hit me up next ride or time in shop.
Advice: CO2 is a bad technology to rely on fixing flats. Everyone
should have a high pressure frame pump with a hose. Hoses prevent
stem breakage. Also necessary:
at least two tubes
dollar bill for a boot (which cured my problem)
dollar in change for cell phone
ten dollar bill for a hitch home from a trusty driver when all fails
five dollar bill for food and beverage after getting dropped/bonking
My Two Cents,
James T.
P. S. Daryll, you were right, I do need to find a new mechanic. Can't
believe I missed that hole twice.
