Thank you to everyone who e-mailed me.  I'm doing fine.  But it's
freaking me
how close I was.  Now I notice that the micro-clasp buckle on my left
shoe is
twisted a bit.  So  the side of the car contacted me before the mirror
knocked me
off the road.  I haven't retrieved my bike yet.  But I going to have all my
equipment checked out by the folks at Bike Route.

I'm beginning to feel  less generous toward the lady who hit me.   Maybe
it was
road rage after all -  our worst nightmare.
