GCCMail: Attn: Gliders, Flyers, and Developers, Developers Clinic--Input Needed

Hey Riders,
I'm thinking about doing a clinic for the Developers, a series of four
rides during a single week where we focus on a particular skill each
day that will help Developers transition into faster riding groups. I
would like to know from you old salts (and young but wise souls):
a) what are the weaknesses and problems you experience in your group
with new riders (sorry, them not laughing at your jokes is not one
them)?
b) what sort of advanced paceline skills do you think riders should
have formal experience with before riding with the faster groups?
c) what are problems that current members of your group (including the
Developers ourselves) need to work on, but maybe are too shy to
discuss?
Some examples of things we might focus on during different days of the
clinic include Rotations, Cornering, Over-Cadence drills (for form),
and maybe an informal team time trial to finish off the series. The
idea is, as always, that even if you're not going to race, learning
these advanced skills will make you more safe in any group.
I'd love your input, and maybe a suggestion that you would like to
help on one of the rides if your schedule fits.
Cheers,
James Thompson
