GCCMail: Stolen Surly 1x1 (my bike!!) from SuperCoolBikeShop Bob Newman 07 Jul 2009 20:12 EDT

GCC members,

Let's see if we can help Jake out. Please look out for this bike. The
Super Cool Bike Shop has been supportive of the GCC in the past.

Hi, Bob

I was sending you this email in hope that you could put it around the GCC
listserve..! Your help on the matter is appreciated.

On July 3rd in the early AM The Super Cool Bike Shop was broken into with
the end result of my personal and highly customized Surly 1x1 bicycle being
stolen. No other bicycles were stolen and aside from some cash nothing else
was, either. I would ask for the help of the GCC community in keeping an eye
out for a decked-out 1x1 floating around town and to contact either myself
(@ SuperCool 371-bike'2453') or the Gainesville Police Department(Case #
09-12736) with any information they could provide on the matter.

A description of the bike is as follows(along with a weblink with a picture
of the bike:)

The bicycle is a black Surly 1x1 , 18" frame/ Mavic rims laced to Paul
hubs, titanium seatpost / gold(colored) handlebars/ thomson stem/ fizik
arione saddle/ Paul Brakes/ Pink seatclamp and Pink ChrisKing Headset/ XTR
Pedals/ and plenty of other shiny custom parts!/ There is also a frame-pump
attached to the downtube bottle-cage and a seatbag attached to the frame.

- the bike was stolen as pictured... change for a different seat and no
Garmin.

Thanks for the help,

Jake @ Super Cool Bike Shop 371-2453
