Sunrise Ride

MEET: At the Chevron station <http://gccfla.org/ridelocnw.html>  on the corner of NW 43rd St and 53rd Ave.

PARK: In the Chevron station, along NW 43rd St.
             Start at the north end and work south.
             Do not park in the slots alongside the station or along NW 53rd Ave.
             Please watch where you are standing; do not block the flow of traffic going to the pumps.

           TIME: Meet at 7:40 AM (EDT)
           Ride briefing and introductions at 7:44 AM
           Depart at 7:45 AM...sharp!

                         Millhopper > 241 > 236 > 239 > 235 > 237 > 156th > 59th > Hague > 441 > 43rd

THE PACE:  Usual Sunrise rules. Average 18-20 mph, regroup at turns, no speed limit once we hit 441 on the way in.

THE LOWDOWN: By getting out earlier, the Sunrise rides offer less traffic, less wind, less precipitation, more comfortable temperatures and great company. There are no rest stops, thus maximizing our ride time. Get a 2-hour ride in and get home in time to do all the things that need to be crammed into your weekend.

As the sunrise gets earlier and earlier, so shall our departure. If you're not currently on the Sunrise rider mailing list and would like to be, go to the members page on the GCC website, navigate to the 'My Riding' box and click the 'Join a Group' button.
