Dec 30: Full moon off-road bicycle ride. For details, see below.
Jan 9: 8th annual Tour de Felasco, a 50-mile off-road bicycle ride. For this one-day event, which is the major fund-raising event for the park, approximately 400 cyclists will be on the trails, including some of the hiking and equestrian trails. The event reached its capacity in less than a day, and no day of event registrations will be accepted. Because of the tour, there is no workday in January. Night Ride Details:
The Friends of San Felasco Citizen Support Organization (CSO) sponsors monthly full moon off-road bicycle rides, typically held on the Wednesday closest to the full moon.  Everyone is welcome, beginner or expert, and all will have someone to ride with. This is a guided ride, and there will be fast and slower groups as needed.

This month there are two's rides: Wednesday, Dec 2 and Wed, Dec 30. The ride starts at 7:30 P.M from the Park HQ (directions below).  Please be there and ready to ride by that time.  It does NOT start from the trailhead.

Night rides require that you provide your own primary lights for off-road duty: the brighter, the better. You should also carry a back-up light in case of emergency. Primary lights should be capable of a minimum burn time of two hours.

A $5 donation is requested, which goes toward trail maintenance.
