My 2cents worth;
DEPs fav spot is mile 6.5 parking area, usually spring and fall.
DEP tells me they just want trail users to slow and look.
Users need to do this in a fashion that "convinces the officer you
really looked".
That's a quote but not the law and another officer may not agree.
Also, I ask all to give more attention to the mile 11 dirt road
crossing.
Blowing this stop sign is a bad idea, IMHO.
There is far more traffic on this little road than you think and no
viability.

It's true, I saw two people getting a ticket near the 6 mile mark stop
sign (basically it was bikers heading east through the stop sign).
I've seen him there a couple of times now in the last couple of weeks.
Just touch and go seems to be all that he was looking for.
