It looks like we have a good excuse to skip our ride tomorrow...
this winter thing is not supposed to happen in FL! I recently
upped my low temperature threshold so the ride will start at 9AM
(48 degrees) rather than the usual 8AM (42 degrees). As always,
we'll freeze at the start of the ride and end with an absolutely
gorgeous day. Eventually, I may start the Wed rides at 11AM!

Expect 40 miles... average will probably be 16-18 (allowing for
nice, slow warm up and traffic lights). There will be sections
with sustained speeds above 20 mph, and even the occasional every
man/woman/child/critter for him-/her-/it-self breakaway. We will
regroup whenever we do mean things like that... of course, the
last person to catch up doesn't get to rest so there's incentive
to push yourself.

We start from the Chevron (NW 43rd St & 53rd Ave).

Plan to have wheels rolling at 9AM so give yourself enough time to
get ready... you don't want to buy us lunch again!
