GCCMail: Dog Problem Michael Steinberg 04 Sep 2012 11:04 EDT

Just yesterday I sent the e-mail below. Well, this morning on the HighBee QMR ride we went by there and that dog came running out aggressively and is up to his old tricks. Good incentive to sprint and that dog is fast, so there was plenty of incentive. I re-notified Animal Services and I am sure they will pursue it. In the meantime, watch out.

Previous e-mail:
I am pleased to report that Alachua County Animal Services took care of the issue with the aggressive dog attaching cyclists on NW 46th Avenue by issuing a citation for approximately $100.00 after the first one with a warning didn't get any results. I've ridden by there a few times now and the dog has not been present.
