Bee-17 Ride to Flemington is still a GO

Unless it is actually raining at 8:00 AM we will leave from Boulware Springs at that time, otherwise we might delay the start a bit or make a cancellation on the spot if we hear thunder and lightning or there is a deluge of rain; *I* will be there at 8AM regardless, at the upper pavilion near the pump house (where we had the picnic). Bring a pair of dry socks and a towel with you in the car "just in case". I rate today's weather as a ~30% chance of getting 100% wet in a brief shower. If we encounter evadable rain cells we will make an enroute change if necessary. IF we encounter thunderstorms enroute we will seek temporary shelter or turn back. Don't forget your "blinkies" and a light rain jacket if you like to use one. If we do have to ride in the rain, remember to leave some extra space between riders to deal with "rooster tails" of water and reduced effectiveness of your wet rim brakes; SAFETY FIRST, then fun.
