Hi Team,
As someone who is all to familiar with treating individuals with
spinal cord injuries, Mark's journey takes a very special place in my
heart and it would be a privilege to organize a group of us to ride
with him.
Logistically for myself on June 28th I'm moving all my belongings (ie
my bikes and me, and the wife) to Ocala, Florida so if by chance that
day he arrives in gainesville I'll probably likely not be able to ride.
I've already sent an email out to inquire about where he is exactly
currently in Florida his last update from his site shows that he was
in DeFuniak Springs on June 23rd which means he is on schedule at that
point however the weather blows now and he might have gotten derailed
for a short time.
His original schedule says he is to leave Gainesville on june 29th to
go to Palatka which is a 68 mile journey so that would be an
opportunity for me to join him.
The day prior his itinerary says he will be arriving in Gainesville
coming from High Springs.
On June 30th his itinerary says he will reach his final destination in
Saint Augustine!!!
With a tropical storm coming I wonder if he'll be on this time line or
not.

My guess is that the weather has likely slowed him down a bit and
that's probably why his last update was on June 23rd.
Maybe ends up working better for me as my move in date to Ocala is
June 28th.
Any how's I can hold 3 bikes on my car rack.
If I can get at least one more rider with me on June 29th I'd love to
switch off driving and riding duties maybe half/half unless we can get
a volunteer driver.
If I can get away from my moving duties or hold it off for a few days
ideally I'd love to ride with him into Saint Augustine which is the
conclusion of his cross continental journey!!!!
How special would that be?
Anyone half way interested please email me at xxxxxx@gmail.com
