Bee-17 Ride NOGO for today

Daylight arriveth, and it is still grey overhead, misting light rain,
and green all around us on the weather radar. Although I think we could
get in a "slightly damp but no worse than sweaty" sort of ride today, I
have learned that not very many people show up to get "slightly damp"
when there is also the possibility of getting "shoe sloshing wet" if you
happen to end up under a thunderstorm cell out in the middle of nowhere
by random chance. This Cross Creek ride is a nice route and I would
rather do it when more people are onboard and able to enjoy it. Sorry I
couldn't forecast this earlier this morning, but some days you can't.
Today, *I* am going to wait around and see if there is an opening of an
hour or two on the radar, and do a solo ride not too far from home to
keep my legs abused and my seat powder dry and reschedule this ride for
NEXT WEEKEND.
Maybe I will join Mike Steinberg and the HighBees tomorrow if the
weather looks more promising; then, I can blame Mike if we get our shoes
filled up with liquid sunshine. :-)
