Put your calloused handlebar hands together for GCC folding bike specialist Dave Aldrich and GCC newbie Joe Piccioni for answering the eleventh hour call to help parents fit their munchkins into free federally funded helmets at today's Touch a Truck shenaniganza.

We gave away 500 brain buckets.  County Staff Dakova Beatty lead the event with aplomb and humor.

Assemble your digits and palm repetitively as well for Roger Pierce.  He was belatedly presented with the 2011 Florida Bicycle Association Chapter Leadership Award today at the Ride to Remember.

This morning I didn't have time to convey how important Roger has been to our club and to my own sense of purpose and return to service.  I won't pretend to have time here either.  That is a novel-length project.
