Hello, All!

Your GCC Adopt-A-Road crew could use some helpers on Sunday, Feb. 20th, when we will complete our next quarterly litter cleanup in partnership with Keep Alachua County Beautiful.

We will meet at 0800 in the parking lot of the Gainesville Shopping Center (shopping center where Publix is located on North Main between 10th Ave and 14th Ave) and start the litter cleanup soon thereafter.  Volunteers will be provided trash tongs and trash bags.  It is recommended that you bring work gloves and wear closed-toe shoes. Depending upon the number of participants, we will be out collecting litter for 2.5-3.5 hours. More volunteers = faster completion!

In case you did not know, Keep Alachua County Beautiful really appreciates GCC’s Adopt-A-Road crew.  We have maintained a perfect cleanup record, every quarter, year after year!  We are their cleanup rock stars.  Big thanks to all who have helped in the past, especially the repeat attenders!
