Our dynamic vice president of Gainesville cycling club, Ally Gill, presented a very helpful intro to bike commuting meeting for VA hospital employees last week in their auditorium. She had reps from VA health, police, and the bike pedestrian dept. The over 25 attendees included current bike commuters, and people interested in starting or restarting. She had an excellent Power Point which when combined with a question and answer session, made it seem that bike commuting was the only sensible way to go!

She has offered to lend us her Power Point for similar meetings. If you are a member of or know particular organizations that might be interested in such a presentation please let me know and we can arrange a presentation.  It would help to have someone to work with us who is a member of the of the organization where the presentation would be - such as Shands.
